Any kind of bird is my favorite kind of animal to draw. You can draw them simple and they look good. You can have fun with all they feathers and complex patterns (sometimes) and they look gorgeous.
I love that top swan pattern! The yellow combo is gorgeous, that pattern would be amazing on a dress or blouse! I featured one of my swan paintings on my bog post today too, very different style, but yay for swans! :)
Thanks for your comment! I agree, I would love to see it in a dress too! It took me a while to choose the colors, but I think I hit the spot with the mustard one. haha swans are the coolest, so badass yet so gorgeous!
Love your swans. I agree, drawing birds is so much fun. I always find that even when they are apparently just floating around, they seem to move pretty quickly so it's fun trying to capture them - good practise at sketching quickly!
